MA International Relations

I am fascinated by international politics, especially the area of foreign economic policies where each government bargains for his own interest irrespective of the repercussions on other parties. Take a look at my dissertation on the EU and USA economic policies towards Southern Africa, where a profound sense of gratitude goes to Dr Russell for being a supportive and critical supervisor.

PGCE Post Compulsory Education & Training

The PGCE in Education is undoubtedly the perfect licence to teach in the UK. Having specialised in the post compulsory sector, now referred to as the lifelong learning, I have had no difficulties migrating in secondary education teaching, which I must confess, I am enjoying greatly. Keith Warne has been a great supervisor and good mentor throughout.

Freshly out of teacher training, with all my sanity and ready to confront the success rate head on!

MSc Information Systems Development

The study of developing information systems has been a flamboyant experience, which probably makes this Master programme my favourite of all time. Having been initiated in the theory of Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) under the stewardship of Victor Page who is now an independent consultant in systems development projects, has been the most memorable part of my study, when I always remember him telling me "don't look for problems that aren't there". Though it sounds so clear and simple, but more than half of the time when attempting to develop a system, I have actually looked for problems that did not exist.

Meet Victor Page, the DSDM Maestro!

BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology with French

My degree programme in Business Information Technology like all undergraduate courses, has certainly served as a solid foundation to understanding the social science of ICT. Being introduced to Visual Basic programming and Expert Systems, were undeniably the main highlights of my first year. Robert Scane my tutor, and Jenny Le Peuple, my supervisor, have done a fabulous job in shaping my analytical skills in grasping the basics of networking and user-interface design.
