Teacher of Computer Science

Teaching Computer Science at St James seems to be a veritable experience where students are very curious about the subject. Transitioning from the CIE syllabus to Edexcel feels like moving from an old Ford Fiesta to an Aston Martin Vanquish. Edexcel have made their subject knowledge more diverse and really watered down. I must confess that I have been very captivated by St James catholic ethoes, praying with the students at the start of every lesson has really brought me closer to my spirituality, and having a chapel on site means I can find serenity during the spams of time when I am not teaching.

July 2018 - August 2018

Teacher of ICT and Business Studies

What a refreshing experience this has been, after teaching overseas for six years, I devoted part of my summer holidays teaching ICT and Business Studies at key stage 4 and 5, at the Academic Summer school run at DLD College in London. I was indeed fascinated at the diversity of the student population, predominantly from Kazakstan, Ukraine, China, Japan, Nigeria, Spain and the UK. I love the HD display in the IT lab!
